In addition, I have been volunteering with Bilim Kahramanları Derneği since 2023, where I assisted with STEM activities for young children at the 93rd İzmir International Fair (September 1–8, 2024), provided information about FIRST® tournaments to participants, and translated FLL Challenge season materials from English to Turkish. Since 2024, I have also served as a mentor for Aspire United Education—a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering youth through education and technology founded by a friend from The Knowledge Society (TKS)—tutoring teens in a Lagos, Nigeria orphanage in various STEM fields every Sunday. I have volunteered with the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV) since 2024, collecting donations by harvesting oranges and selling them at bazaars, and leading a LEGO® mini car design workshop for children affected by leukemia on January 11, 2025. Additionally, I have supported the Turkish Alzheimer Association since 2023 by organizing a LEGO® flower-making workshop for Alzheimer’s patients and association members on February 18, 2025, participating in the Digital Grandson Project with weekly calls to an Alzheimer’s patient or relative, and managing social media initiatives to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s. I have also been involved with The Turkish Library for the Visually Impaired since 2023, where I assisted visually impaired children in learning the Braille alphabet using the 6-Dot Brick app and designed LEGO® mosaics and models with my visually impaired friends. Finally, as an Interact 2440th Region Volunteer since 2023, I participated in the Christmas Bazaar by selling LEGO® designs to support the “Hand in Hand for Education” initiative, raising TRY 12,000 in donations, and organized as well as participated in various community service projects.
